Just had a 6 monthly checkup recently and a follow-up appointment with the hygienist both was very friendly, informative and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending this Southwell dental practice 👏👏👏

My appointment with the hygienist Mr Khan I must say went extremely smoothly, a couple of years since I’ve had a thorough Hygienist MOT! Totally professional and extremely efficient/ Friendly and the job well done.

Me and my daughters had an NHS checkup with Sophie Arnold. She was excellent. Very thorough, friendly, knowledgeable and put my children at ease. This was our first visit since the refurbishment & it looks amazing!

Excellent facilities and service.

Surgery completely updated. Reception area comfortable and inviting. Staff exceptionally helpful. Overall a very positive experience

Great care and attention given - they really are super good at making you relaxed and comfortable and make an experience most don’t enjoy to be as good as it can. I’m very happy with the service I receive.

My son had his first appointment with Rawand today. He had been so nervous for the past week but Rawand put him at ease immediately and for the first time ever he was literally beaming when he came out. I told him she was fabulous and now he believes me. This practise has gone from strength to strength and all the staff are so lovely and welcoming.

For some years I have been an NHS patient at Southwell which was, cheerfully, continued by the new management. However, I saw a way of raising a problem which has been bothering me for some time - a lost bridge. The quick response was that this could be done and this morning I had the first appointment, being measured up. The courtesy and expertise involved was faultless and i was so pleased. I would like to add to this review having now had much more experience with Southwell Dental Care and in particular in the care of Rawand Juma. The bridge has been fitted and it is excellent. Because I am interested, I do wonder at how this is accomplished. My previous experience was with a Plastescene like substance. But it seemed that Rawanda moved an electronic sensor over the area which recorded all the ‘hills and valleys’. This went to the ‘builder’ where it was translated into layers from which the plastic was built up - in layers. The fit is excellent, my bite on that side is restored - and there is a cosmetic element - no big blank toothless space with a large grin!
But the story goes on. I now experienced bad toothache - and I now had a dentist! Investigation revealed ‘badness’ below a cap at lower right. The decision was made that the tooth needed to be extracted! As my confidence in Rawanda was now at a high, I readily agreed. The extraction took well over an hour and required the assistance of fellow dentist Sam. I am grateful to him for that especially as I nearly bit his little finger off, bracing against all the activity.
So I am extremely grateful to Southwell Dental Care. All the. Staff showed appropriate sympathy and I had two offers to be driven home. I was obviously looking a bit pathetic! A big ‘thank you’ to you all.

I’ve been a patient at Southwell Dental Care for many years under the NHS and have continued attending since the recent takeover. I visited today for a hygiene appointment with Holly Fanthom, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience.
Both Holly and her assistant were incredibly welcoming and friendly, immediately putting me at ease. Holly was clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about her work, taking the time to explain in detail how I can improve my dental hygiene. She was also exceptionally gentle- far more so than in any of my previous experiences.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Dr Rawand at Southwell Dental Clinic honestly deserves to be shared.
I had a severe toothache with a big infection and a painful abscess under my tooth. Before coming here, I visited two different dentists at other clinics and both told me the same thing the tooth had to be extracted. I was really upset and didn’t want to lose it.
A friend of mine who lives in Nottingham recommended Dr Rawand at Southwell Dental Clinic. Even though I live in Hampshire, I decided to take the chance and drove almost three hours to see her.

From the moment I walked into the clinic, I felt the difference. The place was spotless and the receptionist was very welcoming and friendly, which helped calm my nerves right away.
Dr Rawand was amazing. She examined my tooth carefully, cleaned the abscess, and worked with incredible skill and patience. The procedure took some time and she had to give me several anesthetic injections, but her hands were so gentle that I honestly barely felt them.

What impressed me the most is that she saved my tooth when two other dentists said it couldn’t be saved. She performed a very thorough root canal treatment, cleaned the infection underneath, and placed medication to treat the inflammation.

I’m writing this review two days after the treatment, and the result honestly feels like magic. The pain completely disappeared within 24 hours, and the swelling in my face from the infection went down quickly.

I’m incredibly grateful to Dr Rawand. She didn’t just treat my tooth she saved it. If you’re looking for a dentist who is skilled, patient, and truly cares about her patients, I can’t recommend her enough.

Even if I have to drive three hours each way again, I would absolutely come back to her and recommend her to everyone I know.

Such a lovely idea introducing children’s appointments on a Saturday. No missing school. The appointments felt very relaxed and they even had games in the waiting room and goodie bags.

Everyone at Southwell Dental Care were very friendly. I had my scheduled check-up on time, and I was very well looked after by my Dentist, who explained everything to me, and was genuinely caring. I would have no hesitation in recommending Southwell Dental Care to anyone I meet who is looking for a professional, friendly and caring dental practice.

I have had two 45 minute appointments with Yousef Khan Dental Hygienist at Southwell Dental Care. The treatment has been exceptional and I have no hesitation in recommending him.

I am an NHS patient and I have to say everyone from reception to my new dentist, Sam Banna, were attentive, concerned for my comfort and offered the very best experience I’ve had at the dentists. So, thank you so much for making my most feared visit pleasurable - I may even look forward to my next visit (not normal for me).

Excellent experience. Great staff, relaxed environment. Screen displaying open fire in the surgery was welcome and relaxing.

I was very nervous but Sam was so nice I felt fine had my filling and now it's done I won't be afraid going again thankyou Sam.
